This is a summer scene of Doty Park on the shores of Lake Winnebago in
Neenah Wi with a foot bridge arching over a canal and leading to a gazebo that offers a quiet and relaxing view of the lake.

I started painting over 40 years ago as a hobby, an extension of my childhood interest in art which was my favorite subject in grade school. Painting was and still is my method of expressing my love of nature and the environment. Later on, it became a method to convey a message.through original poems combined with my paintings. I aim to capture the eye with color and soothe the soul with an atmosphere of ethereal tranquility. I hope to achieve an overall effect of harmony and co-existence between nature and mankind with a subtle implication of the greater cosmos.
