This is a summer scene of the farm adjacent to the Pope Conservancy just west of Middleton, WI. The barns are somewhat unusual in that they are painted white instead of the traditional red color. The green trees behind the barns provide a dramatic contrasting colo and background.
About Thomas Kuchenbecker
I started painting over 40 years ago as a hobby, an extension of my childhood interest in art which was my favorite subject in grade school. Painting was and still is my method of expressing my love of nature and the environment. Later on, it became a method to convey a message.through original poems combined with my paintings. I aim to capture the eye with color and soothe the soul with an atmosphere of ethereal tranquility. I hope to achieve an overall effect of harmony and co-existence between nature and mankind with a subtle implication of the greater cosmos.
